Dealing with anxiety and worry.

Anxiety, worry and dwelling on the past are the main causes of depression which leads to poor health, inertia, and unhappy lives. Meditation is scientifically proven to change the physical brain, its functions, and our thought processes. Depression is triggered by negative thoughts, life can be hard sometimes but its how we deal with it that makes the difference. With regular practice of meditation, we can re-train the mind to behave differently. We begin to notice when we are distracted by thoughts that its 'just a thought', we can accept it for what it is - just thoughts. Meditation helps us to be more 'in the moment' and experiencing 'now' rather than living in the past or worrying about the future. In simply 'BEING in the moment', we realise that past events are not hurting us right now, future events are not here yet. There nothing more to do other than 'BE'. This feeling is blissful, calm and grounding, and changes our perception of ourselves and those around us. There are numerous ways to learn how to practice meditation.
